Determining the Efficiency of a Second Pizza Oven

by Edward Gleason

Submitted : Fall 2013

The problem in question is whether a second oven is worth the extra expense. With two ovens the total cost of running them would be doubled but the efficiency of having two would make the likelihood of burnt and wasted pizzas lower and allow pizzas to be made more rapidly. Using the difference of areas under a curve can help determine what action should be taken and if buying a second oven would be worth it in the long run.
