Perfect Pitch

by Kirkland Raibon

Submitted : Fall 2013

The purpose of this project was to show how far an object would be thrown from a robot that that was set to release an object at a certain degree and at a set velocity. The robot has a circular rotating arm that rotates perpendicular to the ground. Some of the calculations involved were finding the velocity for both the x and y components. Also the time that the object was in the air from being released from the robot to its initial contact with the ground. Other calculations used were liner and angular velocity, also liner and angular acceleration were used.
