Agricultural fertilizers are important to maintaining healthy plants and crops. Fertilizers are added to soils in order to keep them fertile by replenishing lost nutrients taken up by growing plants and crops being cultivated. Furthermore, adding too much fertilizer may also produce unwanted results, such as quality and yield of crops. Consequently, it is necessary to be able to systems of linear equations to be solved by using Gaussian Elimination in order to calculate how much fertilizer is needed to provide optimal nutrients for the plants and crops to grow healthy.
