Mathematical Modeling of Solar Energy Collection and Storage

Solar energy is a clean and plentiful renewable resource that can be developed to replace the fossil fuels. To develop a solar energy system, simple mathematical models of solar energy collection and storage are made. The purpose of the project is to predict temperature of the pipe whose length is equal to L at any given time, t. Another purpose is to find the temperature of the storage tank in 11 hours of heating. In order to solve these problems, the derivative and integration were used to predict and solve the problems and the given equation was used to test the results.
