Capillary Density

This project was design to determine how large the radius of a capillary could be while still maintaining in the appropriate concentration of oxygen throughout the cell. If the concentration at any point in the cell reaches zero then the cell will die. Therefore the radius must be small enough so the oxygen can easily travel through the cells to maintain cell life. The largest radius value calculated was 24.9302 microns. Therefore, the radius in every capillary cell must be less than 24.9302 microns for the cell to survive. With this radius the minimum capillary density found was 0.00040224 capillaries/micron.
