Calculation of Centroids

Submitted : Spring 2011

In this project several objects and a set of coordinates were given to find the centorids of an object. First the proper equations must be found to locate the centroids and try to fully understand how to use them in order to apply it to the project. After that the proper coordinates should be found and filled into an excel spreadsheet. From there the coordinates integrals should be found on excel and divided the proper integrals to locate the centroid of the object.

From here the centroids must be found mathematically with the excel sheet. Base these results to the analytical centroids found. The reason for this is to make sure that the centroid coordinates calculated are close to the actual centroid of the object. If they are closely related then you know that the excel sheet is correct and you also know the centroid of the object.
