Reaction Forces on a Structure with a Moving Load

Submitted : Fall 2010

In order to find out the forces involved at the supports, I used basic equilibrium equations to find out the forces in the supports A and B. Using integration, I created a equation in which I could plug in different distances or values of X. I then took this equation and used excel to crunch the numbers for me.I then came up with the results of a linear relationship between x and the support forces.
