Insulation Thickness for a Micro-Reactor

by Disha Saha

Submitted : Spring 2010

The insulation thickness for a micro-reactor project involved many mathematical calculations. The objective of this project was to determine the insulation radius that would maximize the heat loss from the reactor, and the insulation radius that would represent the break-even-point that would provide the same heat loss as the bare metal reactor wall.
