Fluid Mechanics: Differential Form of Continuity Equation

by Tony Tabshe

Submitted : Spring 2019

The continuity equation is an important equation in fluid mechanics. The continuity equation is an extension of the conservation of mass. The differential form continuity equation is a more powerful version of the continuity equation. This is because the equation works under the conditions of steady, unsteady, compressible and incompressible flow. The objective of this project is to use solve for various cases to find the flow of a system using the differential form of the continuity equation.
