Integrating the Equation of Hydrostatics for Groundwater under Non-isothermal Conditions

The use of modeling is becoming more and more relevant in several fields. Geology is no different. Groundwater modeling helps us to actually visualize what is happening to water below our feet that we cannot usually see. A key component for creating useful groundwater models is water pressure. However, several variables need to be factored in to the calculations for water pressure, all of which change as you change your location on the Earth and as you get deeper into the ground. Several equations are needed to solve for this one variable. This project simplifies the process by combining several different equations and integrating them together to create a single formula for water pressure. This new equation automatically accounts for all relevant variables and factors in location-specific variability. With this new equation, groundwater modeling will become more accurate and can be done with ease.
