Area Under the Curve of Ibuprofen’s Plasma Concentration

In this process, estimations of AUC were found on an hourly interval from 4 to 10 hours with the use of the trapezoid rule in a clinical trial of both genders which consisted of 22 volunteers ranging from an average weight of 27.2 and an average BMI of 24.1kg/m^2 (Dewland, 2009.) The dosage examined is two pills of 200 mg of standard ibuprofen administered once and the mean plasma concentration of ibuprofen is then used to find the AUC.
