Submitted : Fall 2009

The purpose of this project is to use calculus based material on real world applications. In my project I am using my calculus knowledge to determine how long it takes a 2006 Pontiac Solstice with a 2.4L Ecotec engine to go from zero to sixty miles per hour. Based on my experiences around cars I would estimate that for this particular car it would take around seven or eight seconds to go from zero to sixty miles per hour.
