Drug Sensitivity

by Muaath Fadel

Submitted : Fall 2014

This project solves a medical application using calculus. The medical problem is to find the sensitivity of a patient to a dose of 50mg of a certain drug. The strength of the drug is given by R (M) where M measures the dosage. By taking the derivative of the given equation [R(M)] and solving for M, I was able to figure out the sensitivity of the patient to the drug. This is helpful to the doctors in order to be able to prescribe the right drug with the right amount needed by a certain person.
