Advance Placement Testing in Public Schools

by Jordan Lantz

Submitted : Fall 2013

Students around the world have been involved in all different kinds of test taking. However, what I am looking for in this project is seeing a rate of change with the amount of public high school students taking Advance Placement exams in the past three years. The numbers show a growth in the amount of students taking the exam. Although, when it comes to the scores, many of the students are not passing the exams. With the graphs included in the paper we are able to see a linear function. The rate of change is minuscule with in the three years, which is why we are unable to come to a conclusion.
