This project covers the embedded system within a M1A1 Abrams main battle tank to calculate the projectile motion of the munition round so it will hit the target from the appropriate angle of the cannon. There are many different variables that can be needed in order for the tank round to hit its target, and it varies from the initial velocity of the munition round, the distance to the target, and in more difficult situations, the height of elevation of the tank from the target, or the height of elevation of the target from the tank. These situations all will be calculated in this java program to guarantee the munition round will hit the target. Doing these calculations by hand can be very time consuming even if the gunner know the formulas, while this program calculates each scenario instantly, which is essential when on the field and a few seconds can mean destroying the enemy target or getting destroyed by the enemy target.
