Embedded Systems - Airplane Takeoff Speed

by Daniel Navarro

Submitted : Fall 2012

Embedded systems in airplanes must make many calculations to ensure that the plane operates correctly during takeoff and while in flight. The following extrapolates upon these calculations and defines a set of procedures that an embedded system can use to ensure that a plane is operating correctly. The following allows key information about a flight to be calculated with certainty providing a pilot with the necessary information to make judgements in the event of an engine failure or other flight mishap.
