Finding Areas: Baseball Field

by Jacob Courchaine

Submitted : Spring 2012

In this project, I found the most critical areas of a baseball field; namely the infield, or, the round outer clay ring of the baseball diamond, as well as the outfield. The purpose of finding the areas of the baseball field is to find exactly how many bags of clay as well as how many bags of fertilizer an engineer or contractor would need in order to cover the entire baseball diamond. I am using a template of a professional MLB baseball field as my guidelines, supposing I would want to build the biggest field possible as accepted by MLB standards.
