Computer Simulation/Modeling: Planetary Slingshot

by Christine Dumas

Submitted : Fall 2010

This project goes into the calculus behind computer simulations and the variables that are necessary to calculate the needed data for the simulation to run smoothly. This specific simulation deals with the idea of a planetary slingshot and calculates the final velocity required for an applicable fly-by of a spacecraft around a planet.
