Insulation Thickness of Small Steam Tubes

by Zamia Carey

Submitted : Spring 2010

For this project, one discovered the optimal thickness needed for minimal heat loss from steam tubes. One did it with the use of my mathematical skills in Calculus and Algebra, and aid from my professors. At the end of the project, one discovered the measurements for two important radii that pertain to the problem at hand.
