As a trucking Company every aspect of the business has its own effect. Time plays a crucial part of how efficient the company is operating, one of the company main routes deals with Jacksonville Port deliveries on a daily bases, the biggest issue with that is dropping off at the Jacksonville port is time consuming, It cost the truck anywhere from 1 to 3 hours to drop 3 vehicles since the line and process is overwhelming. So, in order to save time a 3rd party local company will be hired to receive the vehicles at Jacksonville and deliver them to the port for a small fee. All in all, by hiring this company will save hundreds of dollars annually.
In trucking saving time it’s also saving fuel since the truck is running less time, not to mention a big saving in payroll since the driver is working less hours. This project will demonstrate how much does time cost and what are they way to save time and operate more efficient.
