Average Temperature in a Sphere

In a solid sphere with uniform temperature that is then exposed to a constant temperature suddenly, we can determine the average dimensionless temperature with time. The temperature depends on several factors such as radial position, length of the radius, time, thermal conductivity, density, and heat capacity. In completing this project it was determined that the temperature over time decays regardless of the aforementioned factors. However, the factors due effect the rate at which the temperature decays. Factors directly proportional to the temperature include; radius of the sphere, density, and heat capacity. Thermal conductivity is conversely an indirect factor to the temperature.
