Steady State Average Temperature in a Bar

This project, to Julio, was very VERY interesting. The problem involved a lot of different parts of Calculus I and II. The specific topics that were covered solely by this problem were very wide, and ranged from simple algebra, to the understanding of integrals by parts and hyperbolic functions. When the problem was assigned to him, he immediately looked up the history of the problem, what it could be used for, and who the equations were developed by. He contacted a friend of his who is a genius in thermodynamics in order to better understand this particular problem and help him better approach it. Knowing how the
