The Integrated Rate Law

by Raymond DeCamillis

Submitted : Spring 2017

The integrated rate law is an important part of chemistry that uses calculus to help find information about a reaction that would otherwise be impossible to find.  This shows how calculus can be very useful in real life.  The integrated rate law allows chemists to find how much the concentration of a reactant has changed over time if a reaction is taking place.  This is information that can be very useful, and shows just how useful calculus can be in real life.
