Submitted : Fall 2014

With the help of the manufacture rates of acceleration for the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport and Porsche 918 Spyder rate of displacement was found for the two vehicles. Six acceleration rates, 0-30 mph, 0-60 mph, 0-90 mph, 0-120 mph, 0-150 mph  and 0-180 mph at given time intervals, were used to compare the rate of displacement versus acceleration and the velocity versus time between the two vehicles using fundamental theorem of calculus. The results, plotted on graphs in appendices 2, show the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport to have a more consistent acceleration rate than the Porsche 918 Spyder.
