Global Positioning System and the Least-Squares Solution

by Alexander Soler

Submitted : Spring 2014

This project focuses on the use of the Least Squares method in GPS to find location and deviation of the signal. The Least Squares method will involve four variables and a minimum of four satellites to have different references for said variables. Once the method has been covered, I will state whether there is a more precise method of calculating GPS that has been developed or might be developed.
