Submitted : Spring 2013

To operate a furnace there is a cost for materials and the cost to run the furnace itslef. When heat is lost from the furnace that is money being lost by the company. The goal of this project is to find what is the optimum thickness of insulation that will keep costs of heat loss to a minimum and also the cost of insulation to a minimum.
