Water Tank Pressure and Drainage

Submitted : Fall 2012

My project is about a large cylindrical water tank that is placed atop of a building. The water tank is used as the water supply for the sprinkler system throughout the entire building. In my project I have a cylindrical tank that is 50 feet tall and has a radius of 10 feet. This gives a total volume of 15,708 cubic feet of water inside of the tank. There is an opening on the side of the tank near the bottom that has a radius of 2 inches.
