The Suncoast Region of the Florida Section of the Mathematical Association of America was founded in 1974 to serve the west central region of Florida. The primary concern of the Region is undergraduate mathematics education, although the Region is concerned with virtually all issues of mathematics education, research, and applications. The Suncoast Region Coordinator is David Kerr. There is also an MAA Florida Suncoast Regional Newsletter.
