Graduate Certificate in Statistical Data AnalysisCourse location/delivery: The Certificate is offered at the Tampa campus. Brief description: There is a significant need to certify professional statistical analysts in various fields, such as the social, medical, physical, and biological sciences, engineering, business, and other industries. Individuals who have their baccalaureate or graduate degrees from these fields, and who find it necessary to design experiments, collect and analyze data, and interpret and make decisions based on ordinary and complex statistical techniques and methods would benefit from this certificate. This interdisciplinary program fulfills the basic educational training required to address these professional activities. Credit towards graduate degree: Up to 12 hours of certificate course credits may be applied to a graduate degree with departmental approval Transfer credit: May be applied with departmental approval Standardized tests: The GRE is required for all students and the TOFEL is required for international students Admission requirements: The applicant must have an earned bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited academic institution

Registration process: First, consult with the certificate program advisor and obtain an electronic course permit if necessary. Then go to http://usfonline.admin.usf.edu/, the link to OASIS, USF's on-line registration system. Follow directions given on-line. Tuition and fees: Fees parallel that of standard graduate-level courses. Please visit http://usfweb2.usf.edu/pfs/tuition_cost.htm Financial aid: Non-degree seeking students are not eligible for financial aid. Please contact the Financial Aid Office at 813-974-4700 for exceptions and the names of private lenders. Time limit: The certificate program should be completed within five (5) semesters Required Courses: Total program hours: 15. Twelve (12) semester hours of graduate-level course work plus three (3) hours of Independent Study.
