SCORING OF THE ICAWS, OCS, QWI, AND PSI
Interpersonal Conflict at Work Scale, ICAWS. Each of the four items has five response choices, numbered from 1 to 5. Sum the responses to each item, which will yield a total score from 4 to 20.
Organizational Constraints Scale, OCS. Each of the 11 items has five response choices, numbered from 1 to 5. Sum the responses to each item, which will yield a total score from 11 to 55.
Quantitative Workload Inventory, QWI. Each of the 5 items has five response choices, numbered from 1 to 5. Sum the responses to each item, which will yield a total score from 5 to 25.
Physical Symptoms Inventory, PSI. For the 18-item version each
item has three response choices, ranging from 1 to 3. The have
symptom score is computed by adding the number of 2 responses, and the
doctor symptom score is computed by adding the number of 3
responses. The total symptom score is the sum of the other two
scores, or the sum of all 2 and 3 responses. The possible range is 0 to 18
for each scale, but the total symptom score must be the sum of the other
two scales. For the 12-item version, there are five response choices,
ranging from 1 (not at all) to 5 (every day). Sum responses to all of the
items into a total score, which can range from 12 to 60.
