Directions to campus
(from the USF website)
Principal highway routes to Tampa, Florida are Interstate 275,
Interstate 75 and Interstate 4
From the north:
Take I-275 south to the Fowler Avenue exit (#51) and head east or take
I-75 south to the Fowler Avenue exit (#265) and head west. The main
entrance to the university is at 4202 East Fowler Avenue, on the north
side of Fowler, between 50th street (on the east) and 30th street,
Bruce B. Downs Blvd. (on the west).
From the east:
Take I-4 to I-75 and head north. Exit at Fowler Avenue and head west to
the university's main entrance.
From the south:
Take I-275 north to the Fowler Avenue exit (#51) and head east or take
I-75 north to the Fowler Avenue exit (#265) and head west.
From the west:
Take either the Courtney Campbell Causeway or the Howard Franklin
Bridge east to I-275, and follow the above directions to the university.
Parking
All visitors need to purchase a visitor parking permit ($3.00).
You can purchase the permit and pick up a map at the Campus Information
Center on Leroy Collins Blvd. This is the main entrance to campus, on
the north side of Fowler, and the Information Center will be
immediately to your right when you enter.
Visitor parking, convenient to the library, is available in the Collins
Blvd Parking Garage, about 1000 feet north of the Fowler
entrance. After entering the main entrance and stopping at the
Information Center, you continue straight ahead on Leroy Collins Blvd,
past the traffic light, past the library, and take the last right turn
just before the administration building. The parking garage
stands just east of the administration building, and the library is
across the large parking lot in front of the garage.

Hotel and meals
For those staying at the Holiday Inn (2701
E Fowler Avenue), follow the directions to USF, and the hotel is on the
south side of Fowler Avenue about a mile or mile and a half to the west
of the main entrance of USF.
Cafe Don Jose (11009 N. 56th
St) is in the Sherwood Forest shopping center, a small group of shops,
on the east side of 56th street. The intersection of 56th and Fowler is
about a mile to a mile and a half east of the USF entrance, and Cafe
Don Jose is just south of Fowler, between 113th Avenue and Whiteway
Drive.
Savvy Jack's Southern Gourmet
(11401 N 56th St.) is also on the east side of 56th street, alongside
the restaurant Antonio's, in the first small shopping center south of
Fowler
Meeting site
The Florida Studies Reading Room and the Grace Allen Room are on the
fourth floor of the USF Library, adjacent to Special Collections, to
the left as you leave the elevator.
